Our driver will pick you up from Shuangliu International Airport or Chengdu Train Station. Visit Jinsha Ruins (also known as Jinsha Site Museum) which shows the long history of ancient Shu Kingdom. Later transfer to the hotel. Evening free on own to explore Chengdu City.
Jinsha Ruins- The Jinsha Ruins Museum has been built over the actual excavation site of the 3000 year old Shu Kingdom sacrificial centre - a site that was only discovered in the suburbs of Chengdu by chance as recently as 2001. The finds show incredible craftmanship and have, with those from the related site at Sanxingdui , helped to re-write a passage in Chinese history..Day 2

Today's Activities: Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre, Leshan Giant Buddha.
Pick up from your hotel around 8:30am and then we are going to see the lovely pandas. Located in northern suburb of Chengdu, the Panda Base (Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre) takes us about 50 minutes to get there from downtown area. In this park-like base, we are sure to see many pandas at one time that we cannot realize in other places all over the world. After lunch, head for Leshan City in about 2 hours. Once arriving in Leshan, we will board a riverboat for the best view of the Leshan Giant Buddha. The massive Buddha was carved out of a cliff face more than a thousand years ago, but now it is still well preserved in good shape, with his full and serene face. Back to your hotel in Chengdu.
Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre-Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre has been constructed and imitated the pandas' natural habitat in the hope that they could have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. There you can see pandas almost in their natural environment as they have plenty of space around them. They are incredibly cute to watch. They spend most of their day eating bamboo.
Leshan Giant Buddha-The Leshan Giant Buddha, which was chiseled on the cliff where the Min River, the Qingyi River and the Dadu River flow together, is the world's largest stone-carved Buddha so fa.The giant sitting Buddha was proposed to be built by Monk Haitong in a bid to weaken the flow of water and reduce water disaster. It was carved from 713 AD and not completed until 803 AD, costing an unprecedented amount of manpower and material resources. On December 16th of 1996, this massive spectacular Buddha statue was officially authorized as "World Cultural and Natural Heritage" and was placed on the World Heritage List by the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).

Today's Activities: Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Qingcheng Mountain.
In the morning, head for Dujiangyan City in about 1 hour. First visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System. This old project, which watering Chengdu plain for over 1000 year and continues its historical task, was the wisdom product of laborious Sichuan people. After lunch we would continue our sightseeing to Qingcheng Mountain.
Dujiangyan Irrigation System-The system was built in 256 of Qin Dynasty (221BC - 206BC) under the leadership of Li Bing ( the chief official of ancient Chengdu) and his son. For over 2200 years, Dujiangyan Irrigation System produced great benefits for the area, and the rich of Chengdu as well as its fame Tian Fu Zhi Guo (means “country of heaven” or “land of abundance”) is basically attributed to the this famous irrigation system.
Qingcheng Mountain-The mountain is praise for being the most peaceful place under heaven, and it’s no wonder why, all you hear when you’re there is the sound of water running, birds singing, the wind blowing through the lush green trees, and your own footsteps. The mountain has 36 peaks, from the foot of the mountain looking up you’ll see at the highest peak is Laojun Pavilion. In ancient times the mountain was named Zheng Ren Mountain, it’s said that the mountain has 36 peaks, 8 big caves, 72 small caves, and 108 beautiful views.

After breakfast, continue to visit Temple of Marquis ( also called Wuhou Shrine). Then have a walk along Jinli Street. After lunch, you are transferred to Chengdu Airport or Chegdu Railway Station for your next detination.
Temple of Marquis -Wuhou Memorial Temple is a commemoration for the King Liu Bei of Shu Kingdom and his prime minister Chuko Liang. It is the only combined memorial temple for both a king and his minister in China.Well-known for the Three Uniqueness- the essay, calligraphy and carving of the stone tablet for Chuko Liang, Wuhou Memorial Temple was the sole of the same kind that inscribed in the first batch of key heritage sites under state protection in 1961. The temple later established a museum in 1984 and was listed in the national-level museums in 2008. Enjoying the fame as the “Shrine of the Three Kingdoms”, Wuhou Memorial Temple of Chengdu includes three sightseeing parts, the Cultural Relics Area for historical sites of the Three Kingdoms, the Garden for a cultural experience of the era and Jinli Street for folkways of Chengdu at that time.
Jinli Street-Jinli Street, which is adjacent to the Wuhou Memorial Temple (the most famous relic museum of Three Kingdoms from 220 A.D. to 280 A.D. in China) and officially opened to the public on 1st December, 2004, is a busy ancient street in Chengdu.As one of the most flourishing commercial streets, this street had had earned great reputation around the whole country during the period of Qin, West Han and Three Kingdoms. Extending for around 350 meters and paved with flagstones, it shows almost all of the Chengdu elements to people, where is permeated with traditional Chinese-style tea houses, inns, taprooms, opera stage, artworks, local dishes and snacks. Thus, for those who have never been to Chengdu or who want to take a good taste of the traditional culture, Jinli Street is undoubtedly a right destination.
