We will spend 1 hour in Ancient City of Dali then move to Agricultural Trade Market ,while the last destination today is Three Pagodas.
Dali Ancient City: Dali Ancient City was built in 1382, it was named Yeyu City, Forbidden City, Zhonghe Town, the Cangshan Mountain is on the back of the ancient city of Dali that faces the Erhai Lake. There are four city gates of the city in the north, west, east, and south with their own gate towers and turrets. The gate towers are named Tonghai, Cangshan, Cheng’en and Anyuan. The distribution of the city inside is of strict order and the whole ancient city looks like a chessboard (all the path of the ancient city are from the east to west or from north to south, houses of tile makes the city simple and unsophisticated)
Three Pagodas: As one of the oldest and most magnificent architectures standing gracefully and forcefully in South China, it is a famous place of interest, a symbol of ancient history and culture of Yunnan Province.Built amid previous Chongsheng Temple by Nanzhao Kingdom, a local regime of Tang Dynasty (618-907), the three pagodas was named after the temple. Though the temple was damaged in Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the three pagodas were reserved after numerous natural disasters and manmade incidents. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple was designated as an important heritage site protected under the state in 1961 and inscribed as AAAAA grade scenic area in 2011.

Cruise on the Erhai Lake (2 hours), Houses of Bai People in Xizhou (30 minutes).
Erhai Lake: Located in Dali City, Erhai Lake is considered a Mother Lake of locals (Bai Minority) and it was cordially called as Gold Moon by Bai people.Erhai was called Yeyushui or West Erhe in ancient times. The lake got its name from its ear-shape as ear called Er in Chinese. Lying against Mt. Cangshan, Erhai Lake possesses great charms especially with a Moon Scene, which is one of the Four Greatest Scenes in Dali (other three are flowers of Shangguan, winds of Xiaguan and Snow of Mt. Cangshan. If look down in the sky, the Erhai Lake is also a crescent-shape, peacefully lying between Mount Cangshan and some dams.
Houses of Bai people: Houses of Bai people in Xizhou are unique in design with three huts, and one screen wall, four sides, and five courtyards. The outer walls are mainly painted with lime and fine silt. Bai ethnic residents attach great importance to the ornamentation of the screens, windows, gates, outer cross walls and arches over gateways; whether from the black tiles and white walls, or high rooftops and archways, you can find the architecture as a whole absorbs the residential features of western and regions south of the Yangtze River, making the houses distinctive and functional
