Kunming has a mild climate and weather. It is called Spring City in China. The temperature here is not too high in summer and not too low in winter. With its perpetual spring-like weather which provides the ideal climate for plants and flowers, Kunming is known as the "City of Eternal Spring". March to October is the best time for traveling Kunming when a dozen of minority festivals take place and fresh fruits mellow and flowers blossom. November is the time to watch the red-beaked seagulls at Green Lake.

Nightlife / Entertainment in Kunming
Usually food and fruits are sold by Kilo instead of Chinese Jin (half kilo), it would be better to confirm that before you buy.
The ultraviolet radiation in Kunming is always strong , so it's a good idea to bring along a hat or an umbrella. For the sharp temperature difference, a nice coat or nice outer wear would keep you warm in the morning and evening, especially in autumn and winter.
