Faxi Temple is quieter and more peaceful than the lively Lingyin Temple, and is a secluded place for locals in Hangzhou to seek peace and quiet. The temple is located on the slope of a bamboo forest, with elegant and grand Jiangnan style architecture, and can also overlook the entire valley scenery. The temple is famous for praying for marriage and blessings, and tourists often come here to pray for good luck, peace, and good fortune.

Located in the valley on the west side of West Lake, sandwiched between Feilai Peak and Lengquan Creek, the environment is peaceful and tranquil. You can visit the Temple of Heavenly Kings and the Shakya ManiHall, watch the magnificent Buddha statues, and immerse yourself in the tranquil Zen state surrounded by incense.
