First floor basic exhibition hall
9000 years ago, the Jiahu Bone Flute, Duling Fang Ding, Fuhao Owl Zun, and Lianhe Fang Pot witnessed the origin of Chinese characters and the peak of ancient bronze craftsmanship.
Real time performance of Chinese ancient music
Go to the Huaxia Ancient Music Hall on the west side of the first floor to watch the exhibition of restored ancient music. Musicians will use ancient instruments such as the Fu Ji Di and Bian Zhong to play and listen to ancient Central Plains music from thousands of years ago (requires separate ticket purchase).
Qin Han Sui Tang Exhibition Hall on the second floor
Visit exhibition halls 5-8 to appreciate cultural relics from the Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Sui and Tang dynasties, with a focus on the murals depicting the Four Divine Clouds and Qi, as well as the Wu Zetian Golden Slips - the only surviving cultural relics directly related to Empress Wu Zetian.
In depth tour of the third and fourth floor special exhibition halls
In the Henan exhibition area of the Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, it is a must see to see the Ru kiln sky blue glazed carved goose neck vase.
